Esther Pérez Soriano
Esther Pérez Soriano, born in Yecla (Murcia), studied education and musicology in Alicante and Valencia. In 2020, she completed her Master's Degree in Composition with New Technologies at UNIR. Currently, she is studying Composition with Voro García at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia, balancing her studies with her teaching work as a Harmony teacher at the Centre Professional de Música de L'Alcúdia.
Recently, she was selected for the VI Edition of the Taller Ensems de Creació Sonora, where she had the opportunity to work with Héctor Parra and the Jove Orquestra de la Generalitat Valenciana. She was also a finalist in the 34th Edition of the Young Composers Award SGAE Foundation - CNDM, where she obtained the Third Prize.
Her music has been performed by ensembles such as CrossingLines (at the Auditorio 400 Museo Reina Sofía for the Concurso Jóvenes Compositores Fundación SGAE - CNDM), Neopercusión and SoXXI (at the Festival Ensems, Festival SoXXI de Canals, and Teatros del Canal), Syntagma Piano Duo (at the Teatro Concha Segura de Yecla for the 10th Anniversary Syntagma Piano Duo concert), Ensemble Mosaik (at the Auditorio Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia), and Antara Group (at the Museu de les Ciències València and Mostra Sonora de Sueca). Recently, her music was performed at the Midt i Mars festival in Denmark.
She has also participated in pedagogical projects such as Sonuari and Pleasure Island.
