Ssu-Ting Lin

LIN Ssu-Ting was born in Taiwan in 2001, and from a young age, she had a keen interest in music. She began learning the piano at the age of 5 and then picked up the violin two years later. Ssu-Ting believes that learning to play both instruments helped her to develop her compositional skills, and at the age of 13, she began writing her own music.

In 2020, Ssu-Ting was awarded a full scholarship to study with Prof. Peter Edwards at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. She has also participated in various music festivals like Mixtur (Barcelona), ReMusik (St. Petersburg), impuls (Graz), and Darmstädter Ferienkurse (Darmstadt). This opportunity has allowed her to further develop her skills and pursue her passion for music.
